在苏州工业园区，环绕金鸡湖的滨水区域已成为蓬勃发展的新城市中心，巧妙地将15分钟步行半径内的公共空间和设施融为一体。在这些点缀湖畔的馆舍中，有一座独树一帜 - 由繁星建筑工作室操刀的木屋馆，将当地人挚爱的聚会地重新诠释为当代建筑。木屋馆大胆重塑建筑乡愁，具斜坡屋顶和垛口设计元素，向传统民居致敬，同时通过柔和的曲线转角引入现代吸引力。馆舍坐落于绿意盎然的草坪上，分层的木制平台若水纹荡漾开去，整座建筑微微抬高，在郁郁葱葱的树林衬托下独树一帜。钢木相融的混合结构展现了精湛的工艺，外露的钢架与温润的木质表面形成有节奏的对话，两者互为平衡，兼具耐久性和遮挡度小的优点，营造出坚固有弹性、朴质而温馨的独特体验。夜幕降临，柔和的灯光自阔大的檐口下渗出，与自然环境融为一体，汇成迷人的光影。馆内设有illy咖啡馆和公共设施，为公众提供歇息场所，确保木屋馆重新成为当地人挚爱的社区中心，续写回忆的同时，也将自身成就为承载代代美好记忆的建筑经典。

In Suzhou Industrial Park, the waterfront area surrounding Jinji Lake has emerged as a burgeoning urban center, seamlessly integrating public spaces and amenities within a 15-minute walking radius. Among the 11 pavilions dotting the lakeside, one stands out - the Wooden Cabin Pavilion by GALAXY ARCH, a contemporary reinterpretation of a beloved local hangout.

Boldly redefining architectural nostalgia, the pavilion's pitched roof and gabled elements pay homage to traditional dwellings, while gently curved corners introduce an inviting, modern twist. Situated on a landscaped lawn with tiered wooden platforms evoking rippling waters, the structure subtly elevates itself, establishing a distinct presence against the backdrop of the verdant camphor forest.

The fusion of steel and wood demonstrates masterful craftsmanship, with the exposed steel frame creating a rhythmic dialogue with warm timber surfaces. This mixed medium approach balances durability and minimized obstructions, culminating in an experience that is both solid and resilient, yet imbued with an authentic warmth.

At night, soft illumination emanates from beneath the pavilion's broad eaves, casting an alluring glow that synthesizes with the natural surroundings. Within, an illy café and public amenities offer respite, ensuring the Wooden Cabin Pavilion reclaims its place as a beloved community hub, one that preserves cherished memories while establishing itself as an architectural icon for generations to come.
