项目 – 位于长野县东部山区的佐久盆地，中村竜治建筑设计事务所设计的JINS佐久平店呈现了一种对商业建筑非同寻常的方法。这块地的边界与邻近的餐厅、道路、停车场和公园无缝融合，使各个方向都能畅通无阻地进出。受到公园里独立休息亭和景观大树的启发，中村构思了一座全方位、无正面或背面的建筑。最终设计成为一座轻微扭曲的36边形平面，四周环绕着相同形状的窗户，将360度视野引入室内。中村解释说:"这些场地特征立即让人联想到公园里那些独立的大树或休息亭。我认为这种设计方式也适合商店这种类型的建筑。"循环式的布局避免了死角，使访客可以在温暖调性的木质室内自由走动，同时欣赏到环绕着群山的全景。这家店突破了一般零售店的环境营造，邀请人们驻足体验建筑与这片田园盆地环境的共生关系。

Project - Nestled in the mountainous Saku Basin of eastern Nagano Prefecture, the JINS Sakudaira shop by Ryuji Nakamura Architects presents an unconventional approach to commercial architecture. The site boundaries seamlessly blend with adjacent restaurants, roads, parking lots, and a park, allowing unimpeded flow from all directions.

Inspired by freestanding park pavilions and trees, Nakamura envisioned an omnidirectional building without defined front or back. The resulting design is a subtly squashed 36-sided polygon in plan, ringed by identically shaped windows that bring 360-degree views into the interior.

"These site characteristics immediately brought to mind standalone large trees or all-directional pavilion-like structures found in parks," explains Nakamura. "I thought this approach would also suit a shop typology."

The circular layout avoids dead ends, enabling visitors to freely circulate through the warm, wood-lined interior while taking in panoramic vistas of the encompassing mountain scenery. Transcending a typical retail environment, the shop invites passersby to linger and experience the architecture's symbiotic relationship with its bucolic basin setting.

With an innovative form tailored to the unique terrain, JINS Sakudaira exemplifies how thoughtful design can dissolve boundaries between architecture and landscape.

Design Team - Established in 2004, Ryuji Nakamura and Associates has emerged as one of Japan's most acclaimed architectural practices. Led by principal Ryuji Nakamura, the Tokyo-based firm is renowned for its innovative and conceptually rich designs that transcend traditional typologies.
