项目 – 坐落于静冈县磐田市的一处住宅区内，TYdo architects 设计的"西新町住宅"巧妙 地重新定义了公共和私人领域之间的传统界限。这栋住宅位于一处临校路的角地，建 筑师们设计了一面曲线 RC 混凝土墙环绕一楼私人空间，巧妙地在隐私保护和便利行人 通行之间取得平衡。这面雕塑般的"围墙"环绕着整个地块，灵活地融入了景观种植和圆 角设计，确保行人可以畅通无阻地通行。墙内形成一个封闭的户外空间，可用于露天 浴、桑拿后的冷却放松等活动，进一步增强了私密性。与此同时，墙与挑檐统一设计， 营造的狭缝营造出动人的光影效果。二楼的开放式起居区通过不同的天花高度以及两 个半户外阳台，室内外空间界限变得暧昧模糊。这些半户外起居空间加强了室内通风 和采光，同时也强化了它们各自独特的用途。建筑师表示："我们不断探索在这里究竟 什么才算是普遍富足的生活方式，同时牢记本地庆典活动所塑造的社区、习俗和气候 环境。"这个项目是距离其事务所 1 公里范围内的第七个项目，充分体现了 TYdo 植根当 地的建筑营造理念。

Project - Nestled in a residential neighborhood of Iwata City, Shizuoka, the House in Nishinmachi by Yosuke Takatsuka / TYdo architects reinvents the traditional boundaries between public and private realms. Situated on a corner plot facing a school route, the architects devised an ingenious RC concrete wall that curves around the ground floor private quarters, deftly balancing privacy with considerations for pedestrian flow. This sculptural "fence" envelops the site, thoughtfully integrating planter boxes and rounded corners to facilitate seamless movement. Its interior forms an enclosed exterior space for activities like sauna cool-downs, heightening the sense of seclusion. Unified with the projecting eaves, the wall's slit apertures create a striking play of light and shadow. Upstairs, the open-plan living area is gently delineated through ceiling height variations and two balconies that blur indoor/outdoor boundaries. These semi-outdoor living extensions enhance cross ventilation and daylighting while reinforcing their distinctive purposes. Yosuke Takatsuka reflects, "We constantly explore what constitutes a universally enriching lifestyle here, keeping in mind the community, customs and climate shaped by regional events." This seventh project within 1km of their Iwata office exemplifies TYdo's localized approach to architectural placemaking.
