2026 AIA International Design Awards

Presented by the international component of the American Institute of Architects, the AIA International Design Awards recognize architecture and design outside the United States. AIA International members may submit projects anywhere outside the US and its territories; US chapter members may also submit international projects. Built and unbuilt work generally must date from January 1, 2021 onward.

Categories include Architecture, Interior Architecture, Unbuilt Projects, Urban Design, Firm Award, Sustainable Future Award, and Inclusive Design Excellence Award. The jury evaluates submitted materials without site visits. Winners are scheduled to be announced at the AIA International Conference in Cairo on November 14, 2026.

The submission deadline is 5:00 p.m. Eastern US time on August 14, 2026. The entry fee is USD 350 per project for AIA International members and USD 475 for US chapter members.
