PUNTA BIANCA
Deadline: 2025-6-20
TerraViva launches PUNTA BIANCA, an architectural competition to reimagine a historic Customs House ruin on Sicily's Agrigento coast. With prizes totaling $8,263, the contest challenges designers worldwide to transform the abandoned structure into a contemporary space for visitors while preserving the natural reserve's pristine landscape.
The competition, inspired by Agrigento's designation as Italian Capital of Culture 2025, features an international jury including renowned architects Carlos de Riaño Lozano, Mario Cottone, and Ju Bin.
Participants can register in three phases: Early (79€), Standard (99€), and Late (129€). The competition opens January 21st, with final submissions due June 20th, 2025. Submissions require two A1 landscape panels and a 250-500 word proposal description.
